The Africa Green Village Initiative

DEVELOPMENT OF SOLAR POWERED COMMUNITY CENTERS ADDRESSING 14 UN SDG GOALS IN A VILLAGE SETTING.

The Africa Green Village Initiative is a project of the Princewill & Shantel Odidi Foundation addressing UN Sustainable Deveoplment Goals (SDG) in 10 selected African Countries.

  • Food distribution center: SDG 2 - Zero Hunger

  • Primary health care center: SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being

  • Model secondary shool: SDG 4 - Quality Education

  • Adult education evening school : SDG 4 - Quality Education

  • Borehole and water treatment plant: SDG 6 - Clean Water and Sanitation.

  • New crops innovation & microcredit initiative: SDG 1 - No Poverty, SDG 2-Zero Hunger, SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth.

  • Restorative justice and human rights innitiative: SDG 16 - Peace, Justice and strong institutions.

  • Climate Action Initiatives: SDG 13 - Climate Action.

  • Technology workforce innovation center: SDG 9 - Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

  • Solar roofing: SDG 7 - Affordable and clean Energy.

  • Community farmland tree replacement initiatives: SDG 15 - Life on Land.

  • Sustainable environmental education & tree ownership project: SDG 4 - Quality Education, SDG 15 - Life on Land.

  • Waste recycling initiatives: SDG 12- Responsible Consumption and Production.

  • Public toilet and bathroom: SDG 3,6 and 13
